    About

I wanted to crochet something simple that could be turned into different things as gifts for Valentine's Day. I think items made like this are better than flowers and chocolates because crocheted items can be kept forever and really show you care.
I started with a small heart and progressed from there. I made earrings, brooches, key rings, bracelet/bag charms and some for applique ideas. They can also be used as bunting, on greeting cards or stitched onto cushions.
I used Paintbox Yarns Simply, Simply DK and Cotton DK. I used the chunky to make large hearts, the DK and cotton DK to make smaller, more delicate hearts. All three yarns are great for this type of project and each give a different effect and look. Each one was also amazing and easy to work up.
The pattern is available as a download on lovecrochet.com but I couldn't get it to appear when creating this project page.
I hope this brings you creative joy and inspiration.
