Blue/grey chunky wool. Using 5 mm so quite tight knit.
CO34, I have small hands
K2,P1: rib for 6 rows. Can make longer if need to go down the wrist. The pattern is P3, K1 until the end of the row. Then create diagonal lines of K.
Row 16 of pattern, make 1 on the right side of work, either at the end or beginning of row (beginning for the left hand, end of the right hand) and segregate 7 st and knit separately for 6 rows in Stockinet st, C Off. Join yarn back to the main body of the glove. Continue pattern for 8 more rows then back to the rib for 4 C Off.
Can exclude the thumb if needed.
** update, cast on 28 as base too loose. After rid increase by 2 (30) next row to thumb gusset inc by 2 (32). Thumb use 8 stiches and only 4 rows, I have short thumbs it seems
