    About

I fell in love with this pattern, which I found on https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/krydda. As a newbie knitter, I needed a lot of help from Ravelry.com project reports on Krydda sweaters and intervention from one member to be able to follow this rewarding pattern accurately. It fits beautifully, and the yarn is yummy soft. I will wear it a lot, as it has all my favorite blues.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 5.00mm (US 8) 100cm
    • Circular 5.00mm (US 8) 30cm
Other : I used handmade ceramic buttons made by Jeanette Carey from JKC Jewelry on Etsy - I love them.

    Measurements

Notes: I did decreases for the waist and increases for the hips (the pattern was a tube shape). I did buttonholes every 14 rows rather than every 10 indicated in the pattern. I used the Icelandic Bind Off. I made gauge on US #8 needles and followed the 37 1/2" size.
    Measurements before and after blocking:
    17” -- armhole to body hem -- 19 1/2”
    14 1/2” -- armhole to sleeve hem -- 16”
    38” -- bust -- 38”
    35” -- waist -- 35”
    41” -- hips -- 41”
