    About

A friend of mine saw my Instagram, got very excited and asked me to make her a 20s cloche hat. I worked on it during a trip to steaming hot Bologna, but my friend lives in San Francisco where a warm wool hat seems to be just right for summer. I tried 3 different patterns until I found one on Ravelry that works with my 100g of pastel pink, super bulky yarn. Now it's all dc-stitch instead of hdc. Dark pink highlights mostly slip stitch, chrysanthemum blossom is detachable. Based on stunning & really easy pattern by Pinar Vardar. Added 3 rows to make it longer and the details in dark pink. The hat was made with a 10mm hook, blossom with 6mm. If anyone is interested, I can sketch a diagram for the blossom I made.
