    About

These gloves were a birthday present for a friend who loves Game of Thrones (who doesn't?) She is also Welsh, and as such dragons are part of her heritage. She is a strong and fearless woman and these gloves perfectly suit her personality.
They were a tricky project for me as I have only very recently taken up crochet, but once I had got the hang of the angles, turns and twists of this beautiful and striking stitch I was flying. I will definitely seek out more dragonscale patterns.

    Yarns

    • material-yarn
Debbie Bliss - Cordoba 300.0 meters

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 3.50mm (US 4)

    Accessories

    • Stitch Markers
    • Tapestry Needle

    Measurements

Notes: I used the stitch count for the larger size as the yarn I used was a little thinner than the recommended yarn in the pattern. They came out the measurements of the smaller size. I was able to measure the first row of scales at start to make sure they would fit perfectly. The size is measured around the palm, just above the thumb.
