    A lovely pattern. Fun to knit--it looks more difficult than it is! I'm listing it as intermediate according to the descriptors given by Loveknitting as to skill level required for the project, though I've only been knitting for a year and I found it easy.
    A tip: Block to open the lace work, but don't aggressively open the neck opening. I think that I made my neck opening a little too big. Luckily, Karen is very tall, and so the cowl looks nice on her. On me, it would hang to far from the neck, if that makes sense.
