    About

I am making the Demelza Blanket by Catherine Bligh in Scheepjes Stonewashed. As a fairly novice crocheter, I am using 'Its all a nutshell' videos (http://itsallinanutshell.wordpress.com/) to learn more complex patterns.

These are such gorgeous colors and no matter if you're a novice or expert, I think you should be very proud of your work! Just beautiful.

Thank you - but I cannot claim any praise for selecting the colours, as i bought a Scheepjes Stone Washed colour pack from Woolwarehouse.

These are lovely. I think granny squares are a great for learning new stitches and methods in a small way that can be built into a bigger project. You have done a great job on these. Good luck and enjoy.

Look forward to seeing how yours looks. This is a long term piece of work for me. I am using Esther's (its all in a Nutshell) colour selection and following her videos. The videos are in US crochet terms - but I seem to be manage. Still got the complex sections to do, but I have learnt a lot of new stitches/techniques already.
