    About

    Started this mystery cal in October 2016 extremely confident it would be finished in time for Christmas as it was a present for my MIL. Around the same time I started another afghan for my mother (another christmas gift) and with all the other gifts I had on the go at the same time I was pushed for time. The end were weaved in on Christmas day and boxing day by my partner and auntie as I hurried to finish my FILs hat and scarf. Thankfully it was completed by the 27th when we saw her. Although I forgot to take final photos in good light in all the panic. It became even more appropriate design for her as during its making her MIL sadly passed away and tulips were her favourite flower. On the gift tag I wrote "tulips for one MIL in memory of her MIL". It has pride of place in her living room
