Cupid and Psyche represented love and soul in Greek myths. Cupid’s mother, goddess Venus was envious of the beauty of Psyche, her son’s beloved. So she sent Psyche into the underworld to fetch a vessel containing the water of youth, and forbidding her to open it. Psyche could not resist looking inside the flask and fell into a deep sleep. So this project is the kiss of Cupid brought Psyche to life.
The Whole body and hair of Cupid and Psyche are seamless, no need to sew any body parts. The written pattern is about 40 pages, with more than 100 pictures step by step. Have fun!
I love sculpture, often thinking how to use yarns to show the feeling of sculpture. This is my first attempt, hope you like them! Weaving can also be full of artistic sense! ^o^
