    Yesterday I attended a crochet for beginners workshop. It was GREAT! The tutor was amazingly patient, informative and fun and this pictured work is what I managed to produce. I'm going to turn it into a small blanket for my grand-daughter's doll. If that works out then the world is my crochet oyster!

    Update: All finished for dolly. Need to work a bit on my tension as square is a little skew; I think my tension is quite tight, so going up a hook size may help. I have enjoyed my first foray into crochet!
