    About

I really wanted to put a project on my blog (www.oohlookatme.com) just for beginners. I remember being really eager to get onto actual projects rather than just crocheting practice squares all the time. So I decided to create 3 usable bags - 1 small purse/bag, 1 clutch bag and 1 mini rucksack. The small purse was worked completely in UK Double Crochet (US Single Crochet). The clutch was worked completely in UK Half Treble Crochet (US Half Double Crochet) and the mini rucksack was worked completely in UK Treble Crochet (US Double Crochet) with slip stitch and chain 1 to create holes for the strap. These give you continuity of one stitch at a time, enabling you to practice as well as getting a usable item at the end of it.
Two balls of chunky yarn make all three bags. I used Hayfield Bonus Chunky but you could use Paintbox Yarns instead.
I have put the FREE PATTERNS for them are on my blog.
I hope this brings you creative joy and inspiration. Let's get yarning!
