This began as a better version of a cheap store bought sweater I own and wear a little too much - I wanted a better yarn, some detail, and a little more attention to fit. I used the dimensions of my cheap sweater as a starting point, adding a beautiful tweed, some gansey detail at top, a split hem, and shoulder shaping.

Notes: 47.25"/120 cm shown, worn with 12" of ease across bust.
I suggest picking the size that gives you about 10-12"/25.5-30.5cm positive ease across bust, and then adjusting depth as desired. Notes are in the pattern on how to do so.
