I used stylecraft double knitting yarn for these covers. I also used King Cole cuddles for Santa's beard and hat.
I added safety eyes as this is easier than embroidering for me, although either would be fine.

Other : I used googly safety eyes for the penguin, robin and reindeer and black safety eyes for Santa and the snowman.
