    About

After a number of lacy projects, it is time for a return to one of my favourite knitting techniques - cabling!

I love the way the stitches intertwine and the textures created. This pattern contrasts cables on a garter stitch background. This creates a chunky effect using aran weight wool. So it looks chunky but is lighter weight.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 5.00mm (US 8) 33cm

    Accessories

    • Cable Needle
    • Tapestry Needle
Other : Crochet hook for stringing fringes
    Row counter.

    Measurements

    24cm x 200cm

Notes: I'm shortening the scarf as I think that 280 cm would drown me - I'm not very tall - and I don't have enough yarn to make the full length of 280cm.
