    About

I found this pattern and thought it was really cute. Plus it's great if you prefer knitting an item in one piece as the fronts and back are all knitted in one piece then the sleeves slot in at the armholes and its knitted as a yoke which then turns into the hood. I knitted this on straight needles instead of the round needles suggested but I'm used to knitting fronts and backs of sweaters in one piece so used to having a lot of stitches on the needles. The hardest part was working out how to fold and stitch the ears from the pattern and positioning the ears and pockets. I decided to change the hood band for a fluffy yarn for a nice soft finish. Patterns knits quickly due to being Aran weight yarn.

I like the way you manage to change the patterns you use, for example using straight needles for this. The fluffy yarn really adds to the 'cute' effect! Lovely!
