When I first saw this wool I knew it would be great autumnal colours for me, so started to wonder what I could make with it. Eventually I succumbed and bought 2 skeins thinking I’d make a cowl. Then I realised it might be a bit itchy on my very sensitive skin, so bought some more to make a Poncho. After a while I wondered about a sweater wrap, as I have already crocheted 2 ponchos, so I unpicked and had a go without a pattern. My sweater wrap was met with only faint praise, and my husband said he preferred some of the other garments I had made, yet loved this wool too. Another unpick and re-wind session, but I liked the wool so much it wasn’t a chore. The colours are delightful. During this time a few more skeins were added! We eventually decided that the Autumn Storm wrap could look great in this wool, so I experimented with hook sizes, and then rapidly (took me less than 1 week) made my final garment with this.
