    About

I wanted to see if I could make some gloves because we all needed some for the cold weather. I decided on fingerless gloves that can be adapted into mittens by adding a flap. I chose a griddle stitch and it came out beautifully in the yarn I chose. I made a pair for my daughter, sons and myself. They are warm, soft and comfortable.
For the hat, which my daughter asked for, I worked from the rim upwards and worked alternate front and back loop only stitches. It is easily adjusted to fit different sizes and looks great on.
