    About

I had a summer jumper bought from a local shop which wore out through wear and washing, so wanted a replacement. Thought I would go for Aran weight so as to be fairly quick to knit. 2 house moves later, I finally made an effort to finish it!nI did a tension square, then created my pattern/size from there. I took ideas ( some that worked, some that didn't!) from old less successful jumpers that I had made from patterns, making note to change them for stitches that I felt would work better for fit etc. Like panels of ribbing to hold shape. I am a loose knitter so took that into consideration. I wanted a casual feel, but a bit more shape. So it was very experimental! I love the result. It fits exactly how I wanted and look forward. To wearing it over a vest, or tea dress in the summer.
