    About

I used the base pattern for the Chinese Dragon, in a silver acrylic. I created the wings on my own, with a little inspiration from a Snitch wing pattern I found on pinterest and crocodile stitches. I then attached yarns varying from silver to deep purple as the 'feathers' on the head and tail. She has wire throughout so she can pose.

She is a friend's Original Character, and this was a gift for her birthday. Also, I will never do one again. Too much work.

    Yarns

    • material-yarn
Loops and Threads Colorwheel - Silver 1 ball

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stitch Markers
    • Stuffing
Other : I used 18 gauge wire, embroidery floss for the eyes, stuffing through the body... iPad to keep me sane...

    Measurements

Notes: I ended the dragon about six inches shorter than the pattern stated, but this was due to me adding the tail feathers and, well, hating crocheting around in such a tiny circle, around wire. I was done with that thankyouverymuch.

I think this dragon is beautiful and you can see the hard work you've put into it. Your friend must have been so excited.
