    About

It took me a while to get to it but even when I knitted it, the pond just looked like a blue circle. So I added a water lily which looks like a drowned daffodil, some bulrushes and some flag iris. Only my husband raising his eyes skywards stopped me trying to knit a willow tree. I'll keep it for next time ...........

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Double Point 3.00mm (US 2.5) 20cm
    • Single Point 4.00mm (US 6) 25cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
Other : The DPNS were used for making the bulrushes and the irises and I found that you can make a two stitch I- cord and increase stitches on the I-cord. Making this was fun and fiddly.

    Measurements

Notes: The pond measures 17.5 cms and the pond plants about 3 to 4 cms.

I love the pond, as well as the frog! This gives me ideas for the zoo for my grandchildren.

Thanks Wendy. So many makers give me ideas that I'm glad to have helped you. I just can't stop adding to the farmyard but a zoo is a great idea!
