Product Details
Named after the cinder cone volcano in California, this quirky, reversible slouchy has two distinct sides. One has a volcano-crater top, and the alternate side has a subtle pointed top and tiers that appear to overlap.
The hat is worked from the top down in joined-and-turned rounds, and it uses back-loop variations of simple stitches to achieve its lovely, ridged textures.
Sized for adults -- Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large with head circumferences of 53, 56, 58 and 61 cm, the slouchy has 5 cm of negative ease in its wide band.
Lassen requires approximately 179 m of worsted/aran weight yarn.
