This pattern recently won Knit Now's toy pattern of the year! This is a deceptively simple pattern for a comical, lovable puffin. Charts have also been included for the head and body which are constructed using short rows (no intarsia in this pattern).
Requirements for DK version: 150 yards black DK 110 yards white DK 40 yards orange DK 10 yards yellow DK US 4/ 3.5mm double point needles US 3/ 3.25mm double point needles (The puffin will be about 11 inches tall)
Requirements for Aran version (as published in Knit Now): 160 yards black DK 110 yards white DK 75 yards orange DK 10 yards yellow DK US 6/ 4mm double point needles US 2.5/ 3mm double point needles (The puffin will be about 13 inches tall)
