    About

I actually started this blanket about two weeks ago. I wasn't able to finish it till now as I had an order for a crocheted shawl from a lady who had bought from me before on eBay.

I love the James C. Brett Baby Marble DK. No two blankets turn out the same. I really enjoy watching the pattern of the yarn come alive.

Hi Sarah. I'm more than happy to give it out. It's just one I made up so it's all good. I got some pink satchel love last week. I was having withdrawals. I've also discovered Pinterest. I've saved around 260 colour combos for Stylecraft Special DK.
I'll be getting some more pink satchel love soon. I placed another order over this weekend.

Hi Gillian. Here is the pattern I made up.

I used a Tulip 3.75mm hook. I've found this hook gives me same tension as a 4.00mm hook.

        1. Make 150 chain.

        2. 1 treble in 4th chain from hook and continue 1 treble in each chain to end. 3 chain and turn.

        3. Miss treble closet to hook. *3 treble in next treble. Miss 1 treble. 1 treble in next treble. Miss 1 treble*. Repeat from * to * end. 1 treble in turning chain, 3 chain turn.

        4. *3 treble in middle treble of group from previous round, 1 chain. Miss treble from previous round* Repeat from * to * end. 1 treble in turning chain. 3 chain turn.

        5. *3 treble in middle of group from previous round. 1 treble in 1 chain space* repeat from * to * end. 1 chain in turning chain.

Repeat steps 4 and 5 for 89 rows. On 90th row 1 treble in each treble and 1 chain space till end. 1 treble in turning chain. Fasten off.

For the border I just worked 2 rows of treble. In corners I put 2 treble, 2 chain, 2 treble.

@Gillian G: Congratulations. If my instructions don't make sense, I'm more than happy to crochet a few rows and take pics of each step and email them. I've found that easier sometimes than reading an actual pattern.

@Maggie S: Hi Maggie, that could be very helpful for me. I agree it's often easier to see the stitches than read a pattern. You are very generous to give out your pattern, I really do appreciate it. Thank you, Gilly
