    About

I fell in love with the photo of the Atlanta Mesh Top and just had to make it! The pattern is written with knit stitches in the lace, but that did not replicate the photo. So, I purled all knit stitches in the lace pattern instead of knitting. I also made a few mods to lengthen and taper the sleeves to avoid being overly wide, narrowed the neckline, added to shoulder length, and omitted the provisional CO at the neckline. I also added a life line on both sides (front and back) each time the needle size changed so I could match front and back easier when seaming the sides. I am very happy with the end result!

    Pattern

    Yarns

    • material-yarn
Tandem by Tahki Yarns - Coral Reef 473.0 yards

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 8.00mm (US 11) 80cm
    • Circular 5.50mm (US 9) 80cm
    • Circular 6.00mm (US 10) 80cm
    • Circular 6.50mm (US 10.5) 80cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
Other : I added a long white thread lifeline at each of the three needle-size changes on the front side and three on the back side.

    Measurements

Notes: Small, but I added overall length. Mine measures 38" bust; 24" length, while hanging. The size ended up being between a Small and Medium; it might have changed due to my purling vs. knitting the lace. Love the fit, but the fabric does "grow" while wearing, so I might not have needed to add as much length.
