This is gorgeous. Lovely idea making something like a throw for your daughters to keep and treasure. I must do this for my girls. I tend to want to make scarves and headbands for mine. I've bipassed the question " would you like one?" - I now just ask them "what colour do you want?"
That is absolutely gorgeous, the colors are beautiful and I love the pattern. One of the great things about the pattern you can use whatever colors are best for you. I just love it as is! Beautiful!!
Great job Kate! I truly admire your work! Must have taken you a long time! So consistent and beautiful! Can't believe you made two! Thanks for sharing your gorgeous hard work! :)
I love this blanket, I have the wool and pattern ready to make it (amongst many others) but your photo has inspired me to make this my next project. It reminds me of a country cottage with a shabby chic sitting room, flowers from the garden carefully put in a jam jar to look casually thrown together, a basket of logs by the log burner and a cat curled up on the overstuffed sofa eyeing the balls if wool in the project basket. I absolutely LOVE the contrast in colors!. Has nothing to do with the contest...I simply love this & was looking for just this!. I am making it as a rug for my bathroom in cotton yarn but same colors. Thanks for sharing!
So pretty. The colours are wonderful together. I have such trouble choosing colours for my projects. Hopefully after trying out a few other people's designs I will get a feel for choosing the right colours myself. Definitely going to try this one.
I love this blanket! It makes me think of Spring no matter what time of year. I am currently making the Moorland CAL wave blanket with Stylecraft Special DK, and this one must be next! These flowers really brighten my day! Beautiful job!
What a lovely design, it would travel through the ages. A definite keep and gorgeous colours to choose to match the person you would love to make it for ???? Jackie
I love the colours and design of this blanket. A very neat, well made and inspiring crochet blanket, using my favourite Stylecraft Yarn. A cosy warm heirloom. Maybe one day I can achieve a lovely blanket like this!! My only skill at the moment is a continuous Granny Square.
I wanted to say the artistic talent of this crocheter shines thru on this and its is truly awesome!!!! The color scheme is so unusual and this makes it a truly awesome piece of work. The person that put this colors together is truly a talented and artistic minded person and made a truly awesome blanket! Great awesome work ! Shining example of your talent !!!
"a rose by any other name is still a rose" and this pattern is a rose garden. I can't wait to make this gorgeous blanket and smell these roses on a cold winter's evening!

Such a pretty blanket and lovely choice of colours I bet your daughters will love it for years to come. I’m at the beginning of my crocheting journey and can’t wait to be able to produce something as stunning as this.
I've only been crocheting for a year. I feel this project will be challenging and will teach me new skills and stitches. Love the colors and can't wait to start. Thank you! :)
